What Jesus Gives Us In Baptism

We are in a new season this Sunday, Epiphany. Epiphany is a work which means “manifestation,” and in time, OUR time, that is shaped by the Bible and the Great Tradition, this season is one in which we focus on what God has “manifested” of himself through Jesus Christ-- and through Jesus the graces and gifts he “manifests” to you and me! This Sunday, January 6 is both the First Sunday of Epiphany and the celebration of The Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this new year of Gospel readings, we will be preaching from the Gospel of Matthew, and this Sunday from Matthew 3:13-17 as we see “The Gifts Jesus has given (manifested) to us through Baptism” Please bring your Bible and a friend! As always, we will celebrate Holy Communion together and prayer ministry will be available in the back of the church after you receive the sacrament.
